Situated in the picturesque neighborhood of Miramar, Puerto Rico, this architectural project presents a proposal for a new modern fence that gracefully complements the Spanish Revival style of the residence. Designed with utmost respect for the existing house, the fence features a sturdy concrete construction that seamlessly integrates with the property's architectural heritage.
Understanding the practical needs of the client, who required space to park two cars instead of the current limitation to one, we incorporated a double-car gate and a dedicated pedestrian entrance. The metal fence, adorned with delicate arcs, pays homage to the captivating arches found throughout the residence, creating a subtle yet meaningful connection between the old and the new.
This deliberate contrast between the historical charm of the house and the sleek modernity of the fence serves as a visual representation of the intersection between different time periods. It authentically portrays the reality of the evolving architectural landscape, capturing the essence of both past and present.
Through this carefully designed project, the residence in Miramar not only gains a practical solution for parking needs but also embraces a harmonious blend of old and new. The modern fence stands as a testament to the enduring beauty of architectural heritage, while boldly reflecting the contemporary aspirations of the homeowner.
